RGBW High Speed Power Amplifier 4 Channels

An RGBW amplifier (power repeater) copies the signal from your RGBW controller and adds power from its own power supply. Use it to run longer lengths, or several branches, of RGBW strip with even brightness and colour.

When to use it:

• Your RGBW strip run needs more current than the controller can give.
• You are splitting the strip into several runs across a large room.
• You want every run to follow the same colours and brightness from one RGBW controller.

The amplifier works with an RGBW controller; it follows the controller and cannot be used on its own.

Specifications:

• Channels: 4 (R, G, B, W), common anode (+)
• Supply voltage: DC 12 V to 24 V, same as the strip
• Maximum output current: 8 A per channel
• Maximum output power: 384 W at 12 V, 768 W at 24 V
• Standby power: under 1 W
• Input and output optically isolated
• Working temperature: -20 °C to +60 °C

Safety:

• Use 12 V to 24 V DC only.
• Shorting the output wires can damage the amplifier.
• Check the polarity of the power and the strip before switching on.
• Indoor use only, it is not waterproof.

Note: for addressable strip (for example WS2812 or SK6812), use a data repeater and power injection, not an RGBW amplifier.
