Warranty Policy

Effective 16 September 2026

Coverage

All goods purchased from VolkaLighting Pty Ltd are covered by a full manufacturer's warranty. The warranty period is at least 12 months (or as stated on the product page). The warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects under normal, intended use.

Not covered

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or improper installation (e.g., crashes/impact, water damage, incorrect wiring, wrong driver voltage), overloading or exceeding max run lengths, operation outside rated conditions (voltage/temperature/IP), inadequate heat dissipation (e.g., installing LED strips without an aluminium profile), normal wear and tear, cosmetic deterioration, or reasonable batch variations in colour temperature/brightness/finish.

Before returning any item

Please contact us first with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos/video. Many problems can be solved remotely, saving you freight costs.

Returns for assessment

• Please include proof of purchase. Packaging goods safely and cleaning off site dust helps us assess them, but neither is a condition of a warranty claim: a fault does not stop being a fault because the box has gone.
• Returned goods will be assessed by our Warranty Department.
• If a warranty fault is confirmed, we will arrange repair, replacement, or refund (at our option and as permitted by law).
• If a claim is not approved under warranty, we will contact you with options (return or repair at your cost).

Made-to-Order / Custom products

• Made-to-order/custom items are covered for manufacturing defects under the same warranty terms.
• Change-of-mind returns/cancellations are not accepted once production has commenced (see our Terms of Sale).
• Custom orders require a 50% deposit to commence; full payment is due before shipment or pickup. Lead times are estimates only.

How to make a warranty claim

Email sales@volkalighting.com.au or call 1300 610 125 with your order number, a description of the fault and photos or video. If goods need to come back to us, send them to VolkaLighting Pty Ltd, Factory 7, 387/393 Old Geelong Rd, Hoppers Crossing VIC 3029, marked for the attention of the Warranty Department, with your order number enclosed.

Who pays the cost of claiming

There is no charge for making a claim. Where we confirm a warranty fault we bear the cost of remedying it, including reasonable freight to return the goods to us and the cost of sending the repaired or replacement goods back to you. Contact us before sending anything so we can confirm the return and, where the goods are large or awkward to send, arrange collection. If a claim is assessed and no warranty fault is found, any further return or repair is at your cost and we will contact you with the options before proceeding.

Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The warranty described on this page is in addition to those rights, not instead of them. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to resupplying the goods, repairing the goods, or paying the cost of repair or resupply.
